# Tools and MCP servers

> Connect Notion, Linear, Stripe, GitHub and other tools, or any MCP server, so your agent can work in them.

Your agent can work inside the tools you already use. Browse the catalog in the web app under **Settings → Tools**, or ask:

* "What tools can I connect?"
* "Connect my Notion"
* "Connect GitHub"

## How connecting works

Your agent sends a one-time secure link. Depending on the tool, you sign in there or paste a personal key. Keys never go through the chat, and they're stored encrypted.

## Any MCP server

If a tool offers an MCP server, you can connect it even if it isn't in the catalog: paste its address in **Settings → Tools**, or send it to your agent.

## What your agent may do

For each connected tool, choose whether your agent:

* **asks before changes** (it can read freely),
* **always asks**, or
* **never asks**.
